About Us

Community Involvement

Culture of Commitment

GCC Technologies has a two-part plan to help improve the communities in which we live and work. First, we help bring economic development, federal contracting opportunities and new employment options to Western Maryland through our participation in the Small Business Administration’s HUBZone program.

Second, we have an extremely active, employee-driven community involvement program designed to give back to the communities in which our business are located. The program — which is organized, operated, and executed by our employees — strengthens the quality of life in our communities through volunteerism, monetary and non-monetary donations, and participation in charitable events. Among the causes that the GCC Community Involvement Program has touched are local cancer education and support, women’s and children’s welfare, and local food banks.

The GCC Community Involvement Program is designed to support those in need. To find out more about the program, employees, charitable organizations, and the general public can contact us at Volunteer@GCCTechLLC.com.

MAKING AN IMPACT

Giving back to the community - the GCC Community Involvement Program has touched many lives since it was established in 2013. Among the events that we participate in are:

Annual Yard Sale - to raise money for cancer research and local cancer charities

Trunk or Treat - a GCC fun event for kids in the community that also collects food and clothing for local food pantries and shelters

Distribution to local nonprofits - of goods from corporate donations

Festival of Trees - to raise money for a local domestic abuse center

GCC won a Governor’s Service Award for outstanding volunteer service. The award is given to companies whose volunteer effort provides a meaningful and direct impact in Maryland communities.
